The Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, held on Tuesday in Rabat, talks with a delegation of Argentine parliamentary assistants, visiting Morocco.



This interview allowed the Argentine delegation to inquire about the situation and progress made by the southern provinces of the Kingdom in various fields.

In a press statement, Mr. Gustavo Canteros stated that this meeting has allowed the delegation to have a clear vision on the Sahara issue so that it can explain it to Argentina’s citizens.

He also appreciated the achievements accomplished in all directions in the southern provinces of the Kingdom.

Regarding the autonomy plan proposed by Morocco to solve the artificial conflict around the question of the Sahara, M Canteros described the Moroccan project as "important initiative" which is part of any peace efforts.

In addition to Mr. Canteros, the delegation was composed of Veronica Barzola, Eduardo Endeiza and Sandra Caballero, Coordinator of parliamentary friendship groups in the Argentinean Chamber of Deputies.
