Speaking during a hearing granted to Morocco's new Ambassador to the Maldives, Nasheed expressed his readiness to back Morocco's autonomy initiative, which aims to find a lasting solution to the regional dispute.

He also called for the consolidation of bilateral relations, notably in the fields of tourism, exchanges, environment and renewable energies.
