"Guinea-Bissau ended its recognition of SADR," he told reporters, highlighting Morocco's support to his country's fight for independence.
He voiced, on this occasion, Guinea-Bissau's support to Morocco's plan to grant autonomy to its southern provinces, the Sahara.
"Morocco submitted to the United Nations the autonomy proposal and Guinea-Bissau, as a member of the UN, will support the Moroccan plan to settle peacefully and definitely this issue,” he said.
He also expressed Bissau’s willingness to boost economic ties with Morocco to enable this African country overcome the difficult economic situation it is experiencing.
