At a meeting with Morocco's Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Latifa Akharbach,  Zhang Ming pointed out that Morocco and China share  the same principles of respect for territorial integrity and national sovereignty.

    He  also expressed the readiness of China, a permanent member of the UN Security Council to play a positive role, together with the international community in order  to reach a just political solution to this conflict.

    The Chinese official's visit to Morocco is part of the preparations for the 4th  Forum on China-Africa Cooperation  to be held  Nov. 8-9 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
