Mr. Al-Kharafi who received Wednesday Moroccan ambassador, Mr.Mohamed Belaiche, expressed his deep respect to the efforts made by HM the King Mohammed VI to reach a definitive political solution to the Moroccan Sahara issue.
According to an official Kuwaiti source, Mr. Al-Kharafi hoped that “the other parties respond positively to the proposal autonomy of the Kingdom’s southern provinces and study it with clear-sightedness and care in order to serve the interests of all the region’s peoples and countries”.
Autonomy proposal of the Kingdom’s southern provinces under Moroccan sovereignty that Morocco intends to submit to the UN Security Council is unanimously approved by all components of Moroccan society.
Autonomy project, which abides by the major principles of autonomy in various regions of the world, was elaborated following many democratic consultations with different components of the Sahrawi society represented in the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS)
