The autonomy initiative in the Sahara proposed by the Kingdom is considered "the most viable" plan capable of reaching a settlement of this issue within the framework of respect of Morocco's sovereignty over its territories, " said Cotrino to the press, following an interview with the chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid.
The Colombian Official reiterated in this regard his country's support to the integrity and territorial sovereignty of Morocco.
Mr. Cortino has also indicated that his talks with Mr. Ould Errachid Khalihenna focused on ways to deepen bilateral relations, stressing that Morocco is the largest Arab trading partner of Colombia in Africa.
Speaker of the House of Representatives of Colombia, currently visiting the kingdom at the head of a parliamentary delegation, will hold talks with several Moroccan officials.
