The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) was questioned again on Wednesday about Algeria's devolution of power in the Tindouf camps to an armed separatist group.

Algeria is "entirely responsible" for the creation and continuation of the artificial regional conflict over the Moroccan Sahara, says the Panamanian newspaper "La Verdad Panamá".

President of the Croatian-Moroccan parliamentary friendship group, Domagoj Hajduković reaffirmed his country's support for the Moroccan autonomy plan and the Kingdom's efforts to reach a final and negotiated political solution to the artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara.

Under international humanitarian law, registration is a "fundamental" instrument of protection against military recruitment of children, as well as protection of access to fundamental rights, said, in New York, the Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Morocco to the United Nations, Omar Hilale.

Spanish university professor Rafael Esparza Machin stressed, on Thursday, during a teleconference organized by the Coalition for Autonomy in the Sahara (OSACO), that the autonomy initiative presented by Morocco in 2007 constitutes the only solution to resolving the artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara within the framework of the sovereignty of the Sahara, Morocco and its territorial integrity.
