The Pacific island nation of Palau has expressed its full support for Morocco's sovereignty over the Sahara, the Kingdom's sovereignty over its Southern Provinces, and the Moroccan autonomy plan as the only solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, held on Monday a working session in New York with the United Nations Secretary-General's Personal Envoy for the Moroccan Sahara, Staffan De Mistura, at the latter's request.
