Equatorial Guinea regretted, Sunday, the absence of Morocco from the 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 8).

Liberia regretted, Saturday, the absence of Morocco from the 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) and called for "the suspension of this session until the resolution of procedural issues" after the unilateral invitation of the separatist entity of "polisario" to this event.

The statement issued Friday evening by the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to try to justify a posteriori the hostile and deeply unfriendly act of the Tunisian authorities towards the first National Cause and the higher interests of the Kingdom of Morocco, "contains many inaccuracies and untruths," said Saturday the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad.

The European Union (EU) remains committed to its position on the Moroccan Sahara dispute, recalling loud and clear that it takes "positive note of the serious and credible efforts led by Morocco" and "strongly supports the efforts of the UN Secretary-General to achieve a just, realistic and lasting mutually acceptable political solution to the Sahara issue", based on "compromise and in line with the resolutions of the UN Security Council, in particular resolution 2602, of October 29, 2021."
