The UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, has strongly denounced, in his report to the Security Council on the Moroccan Sahara issue, the drastic and unacceptable restrictions imposed on MINURSO by the "polisario", since its unilateral withdrawal from the cease-fire.

The autonomy plan proposed by the Kingdom to settle definitively the conflict over the Moroccan Sahara is winning the minds and convictions, underlined the political expert Mustapha Tossa.

In his report to the Security Council on Moroccan Sahara, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres highlighted the quality of cooperation between Moroccan authorities and MINURSO in Moroccan Sahara.

The ambassador Permanent Representative of Morocco to the UN, Omar Hilale said in New York that the autonomy initiative in the Moroccan Sahara, no matter how much Algeria dislikes it, continues to garner increasing international support.

Côte d'Ivoire called, Tuesday in New York, for the resumption of the round-table process on the Sahara issue, while reaffirming its support for the autonomy plan presented by Morocco.
