A number of experts emphasized last Monday, during a national symposium held at the House of Councillors on "The Moroccan Parliament and the Moroccan Sahara Issue: Towards Effective Parallel Diplomacy and Effective Institutional Advocacy," that the development dynamics in the southern regions are a clear example of the relevance of the Kingdom's orientations, particularly the new development model for these regions.

Representatives of national parties, with their diverse orientations and affiliations, affirmed yesterday, Monday, at a national seminar held at the House of Advisors on the topic "The Moroccan Parliament and the Sahara Issue," their constant and strong engagement, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in the battle to defend the territorial integrity of the Kingdom.

Participants in the 2nd Policy Conference of the Coalition for Autonomy in the Sahara (AUSACO), held Tuesday in Dakhla, called for a redefinition of the United Nations' approach to the Moroccan Sahara dispute, citing shifting geopolitical dynamics.

Italian parliamentarians said that the autonomy plan put forward by Morocco is a serious, credible and realistic solution that now stands out as a preferred path towards a peaceful settlement of this conflict.
