Albania has backed Morocco’s autonomy initiative as a "serious and credible basis to settle this regional dispute” over the Moroccan Sahara.

The autonomy plan proposed by Morocco to settle the artificial conflict created around its territorial integrity is the "only solution" to bring this regional conflict to a definitive close, Former Spanish Defense Minister, José Bono, said on Thursday.
