The Dominican Republic has reiterated its "absolute recognition of the Moroccanness of the Sahara", stressing that it "considers favorably" the opening of a Dominican consulate in the town of Dakhla.

Latin America's political and intellectual elite hailed the State of Israel's decision to recognize Morocco's sovereignty over its Sahara, which is part of a "constant and irreversible process" conceived, initiated, implemented and followed by HM King Mohammed VI.

The State of Israel's decision to recognize Morocco's full sovereignty over the Sahara is a "transcendent act" that aims not only to strengthen bilateral relations, but also to "generate stability in the region", said Manuel Conde Orellana, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Guatemalan Congress.

The recognition by the State of Israel of Morocco's sovereignty over its Sahara constitutes a new victory for Moroccan diplomacy under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, affirmed the Chioukhs (leaders) of the Sahrawi tribes of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region.
