United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, has slammed in his latest annual report to the Security Council on the Sahara, the repeated violations and constraints by the "polisario" to freedom of movement and the operational and logistical activities of MINURSO.

On Wednesday, the Fourth Committee of the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution renewing its support for the ongoing political process under the exclusive supervision of the United Nations to settle the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, and reaffirming the final acceptance of the referendum option.
