The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, reiterated on Thursday in Rabat her country's permanent and constant support for Morocco's sovereignty over its southern provinces, hailing the convergence of views between the two countries on numerous continental and international issues and their attachment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of States and the peaceful settlement of disputes.

Germany reiterated its position on the issue of the Moroccan Sahara, considering "the autonomy plan presented in 2007 as a serious and credible effort by Morocco and as a good basis for a solution accepted by both parties," as expressed in the Joint Declaration of August 25, 2022.

The United Nations General Assembly has just adopted a resolution reaffirming its support for the political process conducted under the exclusive auspices of the UN Security Council for the resolution of the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, and reiterating the definitive burial of the referendum.

The leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries reiterated, Tuesday in Doha, their continued support for Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over its Sahara, and the kingdom’s security and stability.

The multifaceted dimensions of development of the autonomy plan presented by Morocco to resolve the artificial dispute created around the territorial integrity of the Kingdom, were highlighted during an international symposium organized Friday in Seoul, capital of the Republic from Korea.
