It is the duty of international organizations to intervene to do them justice, put pressure on the authorities responsible for the current tragedy and put an end to this situation," said the Sahrawi activist, Mustapha Salma Ould Sidi Mouloud.

Algeria violates international protection principles in Tindouf camps, Moroccan representative in Geneva

Morocco's permanent representative to the UN office at Geneva, Ambassador Omar Hilale said that Algeria violates all international protection principles in the camps of Tindouf (south-west).Speaking at a meeting held as part of 51st session of the UNHCR's Executive Committee, Hilale expressed Morocco’s full commitment to the 1951 convention relating to the status of refugees.

Parties to Sahara issue to meet on June 5 in Manhasset (UN)

The 7th round of informal talks on the Sahara will be held from 5 to 7 June in Manhasset in the suburbs of New York. The UN spokesman Martin Nesirky, who announced the meeting on Thursday at the invitation of the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary General, Christopher Ross, said that Morocco, Algeria, Mauritania and Polisario will attend the meeting.
