The Ministerial Conference of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) expressed on Thursday after finishing its works in Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt, its support to the negotiations process on the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara within the UN framework to reach a "mutually acceptable political solution".

The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Saad El Dine Otmani, discussed during an interview Wednesday at UN headquarters in New York, a series of issues relating particularly to the national cause and the latest on regional and international developments.

 The Senegalese Foreign Minister, Mr. Alioune Badara Cissé, reiterated Monday in Rabat, the clear position of his country in favor of a "Moroccan Sahara" and "the undisputed Moroccan sovereignty" over its southern provinces.

The Moroccan southern provinces are "an integral part of the territory of the Kingdom of Morocco", said Saturday in Marrakesh the Comorian Minister of External Relations and Cooperation in charge of the Arab world, Mohamed Bakri Abdoulfatah Sharif.
