Mr. Khalihenna Ould Rachid, chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, received on Friday at the Council’s headquarters, an official delegation from Sicily that includes a strong representation of the world of economy and finance, as part of a working visit to Morocco to support the investment opportunities and develop economic relations between the regions of Sicily, which has a system of autonomy established for 60 years and the Sahara.

Khalihenna Mr. Ould Rachid, Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), received on Monday, September 14, 2009, Mr. Alberto Van Klaaveren, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of Chile, at the Council headquarters in Rabat.

Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Mr Khalihenna Ould Errachid, received on Friday in Rabat, UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Mr. Antonio Guterres, who is currently visiting Morocco in the framework of a tour in the region which started with Algiers and Tindouf.

Morocco's initiative to grant substantial autonomy to its southern provinces, the Sahara, is "open and fair", Liberia's Vice President, Joseph N. Boakai, said here Friday.

The chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), Mr. Ould Errachid Khalihenna, met Monday afternoon in Rabat, with the personal envoy of UN Secretary General for the Sahara, Mr. Christopher Ross.
