Public policies and territorial governance were at the center of the first Arab Congress, initiated by the Higher School of Technology (EST) of Laayoune, in partnership with several national and international universities and research centers.

A delegation representing civil society in the southern regions of the Kingdom held a series of meetings in Washington with political, academic and civil society actors in the United States, on the sidelines of an invitation received by the delegation to participate in the prominent event (National Prayer Breakfast), organized by Congress and chaired by US President Donald Trump, in the presence of political, economic and religious officials.

The city of Laayoune will host the first Arab conference on public policies and territorial governance on February 7 and 8, organized by the Higher School of Technology in Laayoune in partnership with a group of national and international universities and research centers.

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Communities of São Tomé and Príncipe, Ilza Maria dos Santos Amado Vaz, was briefed on the comprehensive development momentum in the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region on Friday.
