Sierra Leone expressed Friday in New York support the ongoing political process under the exclusive auspices of the United Nations to reach a settlement of the artificial conflict around the Moroccan Sahara.

Yemen expressed on Friday its support for efforts to reach a "negotiated political" solution to the Moroccan Sahara before the 4th Committee

of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Security Council will hold a consultation session on MINURSO on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.

The Kingdom of Bahrain stressed, Saturday in New York, the need to "support the negotiation to find a consensual and definitive political solution to the Sahara issue within the framework of the national sovereignty of Morocco."

Tanzania stressed on Saturday during the general debate of the 72nd General Assembly of the UN that the Moroccan Sahara issue is exclusively the responsibility of the UN Security Council.
