The United Kingdom supports the UN process for the settlement of the dispute over the Sahara and deems as "serious" the Moroccan approach to settle the conflict, said Thursday UK Minister of State for the Middle-East and North-Africa, Alastair Burt.

King Felipe VI of Spain received, on Monday, president of the Canarian Association of Terrorism Victims (Acavite), Lucía Jiménez, who sensitized him to the attacks committed by the polisario in the Sahara during the colonial era and the situation of the victims who have not received any help since that time.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, received Friday in Rabat, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for the Sahara and Chief of Minurso, Colin Stewart.

The UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, "fully shared Morocco's deep concern about violations of military agreements and Polisario's cease-fire threats," Malian  "MaliWeb" website said on Tuesday.

The Moroccan autonomy proposal, widely supported by the Chilean chamber of deputies is a realistic, viable and highly creative proposal, said Chilean political pundit Carlos Moraga.
