Morocco expressed on Tuesday its "appreciation" for the collective action of the European institutions and EU member states, following the vote by a large majority of the European Parliament for the Morocco-EU fisheries agreement.

The European Union (EU) court announced, on Tuesday, the rejection of a request by the polisario to cancel the mandate granted last April to the EU Council to negotiate the fisheries agreement with Morocco.

Croatia supports all Morocco's "serious" and "credible" efforts to reach a political solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, said, Friday in Rabat, Croatian deputy Prime minister and Foreign minister, Marija Pejcinovic Buric.

Under the reign of HM King Mohammed VI, the issue of the Moroccan Sahara is managed according to a new treatment based on an effective, efficient and anticipatory diplomacy, wrote Thursday the Saudi newspaper "Riyadh".

The UN Security Council, on Thursday, adopted a statement to the press expressing its support for the UNSG Personal Envoy Horst Köhler, in conducting his mandate of facilitating a political solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.
