The European Parliament's Committee on Fisheries adopted Wednesday, by a large majority, the Morocco-European Union fisheries agreement.

The recent adoption by the European Parliament of the agriculture agreement between Morocco and the European Union (EU) demonstrates the willingness of the two sides to build strong and stable relations, Spanish minister of agriculture, fisheries and food, Luis Planas, said Saturday in Berlin.

The mobilization of local actors from the southern provinces had a positive response in the European Parliament which adopted by a large majority, Wednesday in Strasbourg, the agricultural agreement between Morocco and the European Union (EU), said the President of the Dakhla Oued Eddahab region, Ynja Khattat.

The Sultanate of Oman reiterated its support for the territorial integrity of Morocco and commended "the wisdom of the Moroccan leadership in reaching a peaceful solution to this issue".

"Al Khalije" Emirati newspaper said Thursday, December 27, 2018, that the call launched by Morocco to Algeria in favor of a "frank and direct" dialogue had the virtue of "breaking the long standstill of the Maghreb Union ".
