Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, underlined on Tuesday in Rabat the need for the African Union to get rid of “sterile and useless” debates regarding the Moroccan Sahara issue.

Speaker of the Emirati Federal National Council, Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, on Monday reiterated her country's support for Morocco's position on the Sahara issue.

The Arab Liberal Parties, members of the Arab Liberal Federation (ALF) and the Arab Youth Union for Freedom and Democracy (AYUFD), convened at the Ordinary General Assembly of this network in Marrakech, reaffirmed their support for the territorial integrity of Morocco and the sovereignty of the Kingdom over all its territories, including the southern provinces. 

The relevance of the Moroccan initiative to grant a broad autonomy to the Sahara region, described by the international community as a serious and credible solution, was highlighted, on Thursday in Geneva, at the 40th session of the UN Human Rights Council, which was also an opportunity to thwart the false and hostile allegations to the territorial integrity of the Kingdom.
