The latest UN Security Council resolution on the Moroccan Sahara has confirmed, if need be, that the notions of "independence" or "self-determination referendum" are “no longer possible", said the Peruvian Council of Solidarity with the so-called ‘SADR’.

Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Morocco Abdullah Bin Saad Al Ghariri reiterated, on Monday in Rabat, his country's continuous support for Morocco's territorial integrity, which is a red line and an immutable principle of its foreign policy.

The representative of the Dominican Republic described the new UN Security Council Resolution 2468 as "well balanced", and reiterated that "we support the political process and underline the importance of the role played by MINURSO".

The autonomy plan presented by Morocco is a "serious and credible basis" for negotiations aimed at reaching a final political solution to the Sahara issue, said France on Tuesday at the UN Security Council.

Côte d'Ivoire reiterated Tuesday, before the 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly, its support for the Moroccan autonomy initiative in the Sahara, noting that this initiative is "a good basis for UN talks" aimed at finding a final solution to this regional dispute.
