Trent Kelly, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, reiterated on Monday in Rabat his support for the autonomy plan presented by Morocco for the final resolution of the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, while expressing his support for United Nations Security Council Resolution 2797.

Last Saturday in Verona (northern Italy), a group of Moroccan and Italian experts highlighted the superiority of the autonomy plan proposed by the Kingdom of Morocco to resolve the fabricated conflict over the Moroccan Sahara. They emphasized the initiative's validity in contributing to the development of the entire region.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of Dominica Vince Henderson reaffirmed on Thursday "the constant support of the Commonwealth of Dominica to Morocco's territorial integrity and sovereignty over its entire territory, including the Sahara region."

A high-level delegation from Suriname paid a visit to Dakhla on Friday to explore investment opportunities in the region and examine prospects for economic and trade cooperation with Morocco.

Japan welcomed, on Friday, the adoption on October 31, 2025, of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2797, which affirms that "a genuine autonomy, under Moroccan sovereignty, could be one of the most feasible solutions," stressing that it intends to act in accordance with this position at the diplomatic and economic levels.
