European law expert and lawyer at the Brussels bar, Stéphane Rodrigues, has said that the embezzlement of humanitarian aid sent to the populations held in the Tindouf camps continues.

Several Italian news outlets have slammed Algeria over its direct responsibility in the human rights violations by the Polisario separatists in the Tindouf camps.

The matter of the diversion of humanitarian aid intended for the populations held against their will in the Tindouf camps on Algerian territory was officially referred to the European Parliament's Committee on Development (DEVE) on Thursday.
