Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad Nasser Bourita met on Wednesday through videoconference with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

Italy and the European Union (EU) are called upon to follow the ongoing dynamics in the Moroccan Sahara issue, writes the Italian news portal "Meridianoitalia".

Italian media outlets deemed Thursday that "no political process is possible for the settlement of the dispute over the Moroccan Sahara without the effective and constructive participation of Algeria."

US experts in law and international relations on Wednesday underlined the relevance of the US Proclamation on the Moroccan Sahara, noting that support for autonomy under Moroccan sovereignty has been for a long time supported by several US administrations.

The settlement of the Moroccan Sahara issue was at the heart of talks held Wednesday in Moscow between the Russia Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergey Vershinin, and Morocco's ambassador to Russia, Lotfi Bouchaara.
