In the context of the ongoing momentum in the Moroccan Sahara, with the American recognition, the new position of Germany and the positive role of Italy, autonomy, development and stability of the region must be the cornerstone of a new framework of legality and mutual recognition, says the Italian Center for International Studies.

By calling on all parties concerned to resume the political process regarding the dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has reaffirmed the clear involvement of Algeria in this artificial conflict, notes the director of the African Center for Strategic Intelligence (CISPaix), Professor Abdoul Latif Aidara, noting that the UN chief has "clearly denounced an interference of Algeria in the internal affairs of Morocco.
