During the meeting with Mr. George Meek, member of Congress, Khalihenna Ould Errachid said that the Council is interested in finding a solution to this conflict which has lasted for a long time, considering that the solution would end the suffering of Sahrawis, Mr. President also stressed the importance of a political solution negotiated, compatible and accepted by the United Nations.
Mr. President briefed Mr. George Meek about deep relations between the United States of America and the Kingdom of Morocco and the interests of the two countries in resolving the dispute, which will enable the region stability and economic development.
Mr. George Meek said all members of Congress are interested in in this dispute.
