"Mr. Moujahid, who is also president of the Sahrawi Association of Human Rights," said that at a time when Moroccans reconcile with their past, there are still Moroccan people detained by "Polisario" in the Tindouf camps in Algeria. " He said in a speech to members of the Committee that "our Moroccan brothers detainees in Tindouf camps are facing difficult conditions imposed on them by the Polisario," adding that "a group of international non-governmental organizations exposed the separatist movement, which was enriched through illegal transfer of humanitarian aid and involvement in trafficking in arms and illegal immigration. "

He said that this situation "is a fertile ground for terrorism and extremism." Mr. Moujahid denounced the position of Algeria, "a State signatory to international treaties on human rights, which is still determined to prevent international organizations, especially the UN High Commissioner for Refugees to conduct a census of the Moroccan detainees in Tindouf camps in Algeria. " Mr. Moujahid said that " self-government meets the will of the inhabitants of the Sahara and is the only solution which guarantees the promotion of a large Arab Maghreb, and can avoid the instability in the region," stressing that "Saharans are more convinced than ever that their future lies in participation in the management of the southern territories in the framework of self-government that preserves the territorial integrity of Morocco. "
