The Speaker of the Bahraini Parliament, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, renewed his country's position in support of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco over its southern regions and ensuring its security and stability.


Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, during his meeting on Sunday with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Morocco, Khalid bin Salman Al-Muslim, expressed Bahrain's keenness to open a consulate in the Moroccan city of Laayoune according to the Bahrain News Agency.
The Speaker of the Bahraini Parliament affirmed the depth and strength of close brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Morocco, in light of the common desire to consolidate all tracks of bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially in the parliamentary and economic fields, and to open broader horizons "in a way that serves the mutual interest of the two brotherly countries and peoples."

Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam highlighted that the distinguished relations and multiple partnerships between the two brotherly countries have become more solid and developed thanks to the wisdom of the leaders of the two countries, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his brother, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and the close bonds and bonds that unite them.

He also praised the efforts of Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, in strengthening cooperation paths in all fields and development sectors, and continuing to develop cooperation and joint coordination between the two countries, which would achieve the common interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
