The Regional Commission of Human Rights (CRDH) of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab held, Friday in Dakhla, its third ordinary session under the year 2022, in accordance with the law 76.15 on the reorganization of the National Council of Human Rights (CNDH).


Chaired by the President, Maimouna Essayed, this meeting is in the wake of the implementation of the provisions of the law on the reorganization of the CNDH and its rules of procedure.
This session was marked by the approval of the annual report of the CRDH and its record of action for the year 2022.

In a statement to the press, the chairwoman of the HRDC Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, Maimouna Essayed, said that the Commission has worked during the year to address issues relating to different areas related to human rights on the regional level.

Ms. Essayed also noted that the CRDH is still working to address the remaining challenges in cooperation with institutional actors in the region, with the objective of advocating for priority issues in the protection and promotion of human rights and monitoring of public policies.

The members also discussed the CNDH's priorities in the protection of human rights, promotion of a culture of respect for human rights and the effectiveness of human rights.
