The commemoration of this historic event deeply rooted in the memory of all Moroccans is also a real opportunity to strengthen the culture of belonging and dedication to the Nation among younger generations.
12 centuries old, the Kingdom has always fought ardently against the plans of the colonizer who wanted to take over, during almost half a century, the potentialities and wealth of the country, by dividing it into zones between the French protectorate, center of Morocco, and the Spanish protectorate inorth and south of the Kingdom, while Tangier was made an international zone.
The liberation of the entire national territory was possible thanks to the enormous sacrifices made by the glorious Alaouite Throne and the Moroccan people who, after years of relentless struggle, succeeded in bending the perfidious ambitions of the colonizer re-establishing independence, national unity and full sovereignty of the Kingdom.
