These figures, including parliamentarians, senators, deans and university professors, researchers, engineers, trade unionists, in addition to civil society associations, actors in the field of sport, specialists in the banking sector and business leaders, expressed their "support for the national cause, and their conviction as to the Moroccanness of the Sahara".
The call provided a faithful and sincere account of the history of the peaceful march led by Morocco in its Sahara. The call also exposed the false allegations used by the Polisario to mislead public opinion in order to obtain humanitarian aid.
The call lauded the colossal efforts made by the Moroccan state in the fight against terrorism and arm and human trafficking networks.
Regarding the situation in El Guerguarat, these figures stressed that the actions of the Polisario constitute a provocation with regard to the UN and the international community. These irresponsible actions have exposed the role of Algeria in the instrumentalization of the Polisario which it uses like a puppet, said the call.
These figures also praised Morocco's approach, which helped secure the area, welcoming the restraint shown by the Kingdom and its respect for international agreement. They also insisted on the importance of the relevant and sound proposal which consists of implementing extensive regionalization and working for the development of the southern provinces by providing them with the necessary infrastructure and creating jobs.
