The two people infected with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) in Dakhla have recovered after medical and clinical tests which confirmed their complete remission.

The second case of Covid-19 infection recorded in Dakhla left the military hospital on Saturday, after having successfully completed treatment, said the regional health directorate of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab.

The first case in Dakhla had left the same hospital on April 18, after having received the necessary care according to the health standards in force.
The coronavirus contamination counter is therefore reset to zero in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region, after all those affected by the virus have recovered.

The regional directorate of health paid tribute to the efforts made by the medical executives of the region in the fight against the spread of Covid-19, while praising efforts made by the military medical personnel having taken care of patients.

The administration wished to reassure public opinion on the epidemiological situation in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region, urging citizens to fully adhere to the preventive measures decreed by the authorities and not give credit to false information due to their impact on the stability of society and security of citizens.
