Laboratory tests of 40 suspected cases of Covid-19 infection have been negative, provincial delegate Issam Ahadi said in a statement to MAP.
He added that one of the two cases tested positive for Covid-19 left the military hospital in Dakhla, while the state of health of the second case is "stable".
The official also paid tribute to the efforts made by medical executives in the region in this difficult situation, while praising the precious contribution of military medicine to the fight against this pandemic.
The first case of cure of the new coronavirus in Dakhla left the 4th military hospital early in the day, after medical and clinical tests which confirmed the patient's complete remission.
The second case of Covid-19 infection recorded in Dakhla is currently under medical supervision and is receiving the necessary care according to the health standards in force within the same health establishment.
