Taking into account the allegiance and historical ties between Morocco and the Sahara, Mr Abouayoub" asserted that "His Majesty King Mohamed VI had the courage to propose such solution". "The sovereign had the courage because he is a visionary king", he underlined, adding that "the serenity and the strength of Morocco are translated in this autonomy proposal"

The future of the region is at a turning point that we have to seize the opportunity in order to build this big entity, called the Maghreb, he noted that the Algerian activism is disproportionate compared with the fundamental stakes expected by the region

Recalling that late Houari Boumediene who wanted to close this matter before his death .Mr Abouayoub indicated that the former Algerian president» knew that it was not in the interest of Algeria nor of Morocco to leave this gap open"

As to Khadija Mohsen-Finan, who is in charge of research at the institute of international and strategic relations (IFRI), and lecturer in political sciences underlined that the Moroccan autonomy proposal "constitutes the only dynamic element "facing the deadlock of the Sahara issue

Having qualified the Moroccan proposal "just" and "workable", Khadija Mohsen- Finan indicated that that the present brocade requires to pacify an important region for peace in the world.

She added» in my view the security factor will help countries concerned to search for a solution to the Sahara question".
