 Nepal brings its support to the Moroccan autonomy initiative in the Sahara, and greets the chievements accomplished by the Kingdom under the leadership of his Majesty Mohammed VI, asserted the Nepal Prime Minister Mr Girija Prasad Koirala



  The Nepal prime minister who received Friday in his residence the Moroccan Ambassador in India and Nepal Mr Larbi Moukhariq equally greeted the king’s initiatives to strengthen democracy and social development, and the integration of the country in the international economy

He underlined that Nepal supports the Moroccan initiative, in order that the region would get down to the necessary effort in order to raise development challenges, in a world that frontiers become blurred progressively in favour of the economy requirements 

The Moroccan autonomy initiative in the Sahara, within the framework of the kingdom’s sovereignty is “innovating and credible” he said, underlying that Nepal brings its constant support top the peaceful settlement advocated by Morocco 

The support of the Moroccan autonomy initiative, and the willingness to strengthen the economic cooperation between Morocco and Nepal which diplomatic ties goes back to 1975, have been reiterated by the Nepal foreign affairs minister Mme sahana Pradhan, and the secretary to the foreign office Mr Gayan Chandra Acharya who have seized the opportunity to pay tribute to Morocco for its constructive implication in the vital regional and international questions. The two Nepal offocials have insisted on the necessity to intensify the bilateral economic exchanges.
