Under the reign of HM King Mohammed VI, the issue of the Moroccan Sahara is managed according to a new treatment based on an effective, efficient and anticipatory diplomacy, wrote Thursday the Saudi newspaper "Riyadh".

In an article entitled "Moroccan Sahara: between historical legitimacy and legal legality", publication emphasizes that this new approach "is based on a proactive action backed by well-defined objectives, starting from Morocco's unchanging faith in its rights and commitment to the integrity of his territory ". Illustrating the article with photos of Moroccans who took part in the green march, the Saudi daily reports that the date of November 6, 1975 marked a turning point in the management of the issue of completion of the territorial integrity of Morocco. This management advocated political realism while emphasizing the role of the throne / people in the fight against the separatist and colonialist theses that targeted Morocco at the time. The Kingdom also adopted a relevant strategy to counter the repeated attacks aimed at sowing discord in the interior of the country and brandishing the card of human rights abroad, especially in the light of the setbacks under the principle of self-determination ". According to the publication, "the right of peoples to self-determination is one of the oldest human rights that emerged against the colonial powers after the pressure of the national liberation movements around the world".
