Speaking to the media, Mr. Hjira said that this session was characterized by “the presentation, in the name of HM the King, of a programme project to listen to the council’s views in order to submit it the Sovereign for approval”.
This new project aims at developing more than 68,000 plots with a view to setting up about 124.000 accommodations in the Kingdom’s southern provinces with an investment of 4,5 billion Dirhams.
This programme aims at eradicating slums in the southern provinces and satisfying current demands on accommodations as well as the future need which will be imposed by demographic growth in the southern provinces.
