The Parlatino delegation included namely the president of this regional parliamentary organization, Rolando González Patricio, along with Carlos Nuñez Salinas (Vice President) and Elias Castillo (Executive Secretary-General and former President).
This meeting was attended by members of this body, including Alba del Carmen Prieto (Peru), Didiano Pinilla (Panama), Milina Ajoy Palma (Costa Rica), and Pacheco Alfredo Osoria (Dominican Republic).
On Thursday, the Executive Bureau of Parlatino held a meeting with the Board of the Upper House, which concluded with a joint statement aimed at strengthening and developing common action.
Under this statement, both parties agreed to work as strategic partners in advancing the Afro-Latin American Parliamentary Forum (AFROLAC) and to collaborate in preparing for its upcoming summit in the Kingdom on April 29 and 30.
