The meeting, which was held at the request of the Panamanian diplomat and attended by Dr. Maouelainin Ben Khallihenna Maouelainin, Corcas Secretary General, Khaddad El Moussaoui Vice-chairman and Mr. Ahmed Mghizlat, Corcas member, tackled recent developments in the Moroccan Sahara issue, particularly at the UN and African levels. 

Panama opened its first embassy in Morocco in 2014, immediately after freezing its diplomatic relations with Polisario in 2013.
