Domestic Activities

Mr Khalihenna Ould Errachid, chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, met Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at the Council headquarters with a delegation from the Romanian Senate.


During the meeting, which was attended by Dr. Maouelainin Ben Khallihenna Maouelainin, Secretary General and Moulay Ahmed Mghizlat Corcas member, Mr Khalihenna discussed the latest developments of the Sahara issue including negotiations under the UN  auspices and momentum by autonomy since 2007 to grant greater autonomy to the Sahara region under Moroccan sovereignty, as a practical , just and final solution to the the conflict.


The Romanian  delegation on a working visit to Morocco from December 7 through 11 was composed of Petru Filip, President of the Foreign Affairs Committee and Titus Corlăţean President of the Commission of accession of Romania to the Schengen Area at the Senate, and Dr. Benoni Ardelean, Senator and Secretary General of the Foreign Affairs Committee.
