Domestic Activities

The chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Khalihenna Ould Errachid, met Tuesday in Rabat, with Mohammed bin Ali Al Kayoumi, President of the Moroccan-Omani Friendship Parliamentary Committee and a delegation from the State Council of the Sultanate of Oman.


Khalihenna Ould Errachid presented the history and evolution of the Sahara issue and the reasons for blocking the current negotiations by Algeria, a stakeholder in the conflict and Polisario established in its territory, to negotiate on the basis of autonomy which has the support of the international community.

 
The Omani official delegation was composed of Mrs. Fawzia Bint Nasser Al Farissiya, Mr. Saud Ben Slimane Al Habsi, Mr. Ali Ben Abdellah Al Qalbani, Dr Sheikh El Al Khattab Ben Ghali Al Hanani, Mr. Abdellah Ben Saleh Al Briki and Mr. Badr bin Nasser Al Ismail.




Corcas Secretary-General, Dr Maouelainin Ben Khalihenna Maouelainin attended the meeting.
