The Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Khalihenna Ould Errachid,  met on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, with a large delegation from the Central American Parliament, chaired by Navarro Anselmo, Chairperson of the Committee on Foreign Relations and Migration within this regional parliamentary institution (Parlacen), of which Morocco has been an observer member since 2015.


During these talks devoted to the Sahara issue and its developments, President Khalihenna Ould Errachid made a presentation on the solution advocated by Morocco to put an end to this artificial conflict.


A solution that was conceived by Saharawis who propose a large autonomy to the Sahara region, said the chairman, adding that this courageous project, just and final, was conceived by Corcas as representative of all Sahrawis.


Tthe Central American Parliament was founded in 1991, and includes twenty representatives of the Central American countries, elected directly in addition to the former presidents of these countries.


This regional institution promotes the consolidation of regional political complementarity between Central American countries.


Representatives of the Council, Dr. Maouelainin Ben Khallihenna Maouelainin, CORCAS Secretary General and Mr. Ahmed Mghizlat, member, attended the talks.
