The latest report from the non-governmental organization Human Rights Watch (HRW) on Human Rights in the Tindouf camps is bias and lacks neutrality, while maintaining amalgam and, shows clear responsibility of Algeria putting Polisario on equal footing with Morocco on the international scene, '' said Thursday the minister of communications, government spokesman Mustapha El Khalfi.

This report ignored all appeals from the decision-making bodies of the United Nations represented by the Security Council asked to make a census of the population, said Mr. El Khalfi, during a press briefing after the Council of Government, stressing that "this census must be conducted in accordance with internationally recognized UN bodies responsible for such operations"

The HRW report, noted Mr. El Khalfi, "distorted and truncated history of this chronic and artificial conflict. As a result, the report in no way meets the requirements of professionalism, nor accepted criteria for preparation of a report accurately reflecting the reality of human rights in Tindouf. "

The government spokesman stressed that Morocco has adopted a policy of openness in the context of law, organizations of human rights and an approach of dialogue and positive interaction with NGOs, providing access to the national territory without restriction under the respect for their independence and legal provisions relating to their missions.
