Francisco Cervantes Díaz, President of the Mexican Business Coordination Council, reaffirmed the Council’s support for Morocco’s territorial integrity during a meeting in Mexico City.
Mr. Cervantes Díaz made this declaration in the presence of a large delegation from the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), led by its President, Chakib Alj, who visited Mexico from September 22 to 25.
The meeting was also attended by Morocco’s Ambassador to Mexico, Abdelfattah Labar. On this occasion, the head of the Mexican Business Coordination Council—the largest business organization in Latin America—expressed his solidarity with Morocco’s territorial integrity.
Mr. Cervantes Díaz, one of the region’s most prominent economic leaders, also highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between Mexico and Morocco, particularly in the economic field, noting Morocco’s strong potential across many sectors. He recalled that Morocco is already Mexico’s second-largest trading partner in Africa.
Last February, the Mexican Business Coordination Council had also expressed its “support and solidarity with Morocco’s territorial integrity” and reaffirmed its commitment to working together to advance trade relations between the two countries.
