While many people have changed or canceled their plans, following the announcement of the closure of eight cities in the Kingdom to combat the spread of Covid-19, the vast majority of tourists who had planned to visit Dakhla have maintained their trip.

Local authorities in Dakhla have spared no effort to guarantee the safety of citizens and tourists and preserve the attractiveness of the Pearl of southern Morocco.

As a result, the city's hotels have reopened  in full compliance with safety, health and social distancing measures.

Meeting tourists currently in Dakhla, "MyMaroc", a travel guide intended for all those who wish to discover the country differently, gathered a set of reassuring testimonies which remind us "that beyond the disease and psychosis, there is life ".

"We chose Dakhla, first because there aren't many cases of Covid-19, but also for its desert, for its sea and to practice a little fishing," said a tourist in a video published by "MyMaroc".

For another, it is an opportunity to take advantage of the exceptional setting and to practice Kitesurfing, a discipline he discovered in this city.

Available on www.mymaroc.com, "MyMaroc" aims to be a showcase of everything that makes Morocco beautiful to inspire and guide travelers. It also brings together a large number of useful information such as the main tourist destinations in the country, calendar of events, health measures put in place by tourist establishments, Royal Air Maroc or the National Airports Office to cope with Covid-19.
