The chairman of the Morocco-Kuwait Parliamentary Friendship Group at the National Assembly, Askar Aouid Al-Anzi, reiterated on Thursday in Rabat, his country's support for the Kingdom's territorial integrity.
Speaking at a meeting with Speaker of the House of Representatives, Habib El Malki, Al-Anzi said Kuwait and Morocco are united by a distinguished friendship and that the Kuwaiti people appreciate Morocco's position regarding his country during the invasion by Iraq ", welcoming the courageous position of late SM Hassan II "on this subject and reaffirming Kuwait's support for the territorial integrity of the country.
On the other hand, Al-Anzi hailed "efforts made by HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, to protect the holy city and defend its identity."
After reporting on the work done by El Malki, in his capacity as President of the Arab Parliamentary Union, in support of the Palestinian cause, the Kuwaiti leader, on behalf of the Speaker of the National Assembly of Kuwait, Speaker of the House of Representatives conducted a working visit to Kuwait to discuss ways to further develop bilateral relations.
For his part, El Malki praised Kuwait's firm and permanent stance towards the territorial unity of the Kingdom and fraternal relations uniting the two peoples and two heads of state, emphasizing that Morocco and Kuwait share the same values of moderation, openness and democratic choice, and work to promote good neighborliness and unify the nation.
