The new school year started on Monday in various schools under the provincial direction of National Education of Oued Eddahab, in strict compliance with preventive health measures.


The reception of students, which began at 8:00 a.m. took place in full compliance with the preventive measures adopted by the competent authorities, in order to deal with the spread of the new coronavirus (Covid-19).
These measures and procedures, including in particular wearing protective masks, respecting  social distancing and hand disinfection, aim to preserve the health and safety of pupils and educational and administrative staff in schools.
In a statement to the MAP, director of the primary school "Almassira" assured that his establishment has adopted a series of preventive measures, in this case the disinfection of the premises to protect against Covid-19, physical distancing within classes, signaling borders and compulsory wearing of masks.
He also reviewed some of measures taken to fight against the spread of the pandemic, including reducing the number of students per class (group A and B), taking temperature and using disinfectants, while respecting safety distance between students.
He also indicated that the School has divided the learning time according to a fair schedule, in order to reduce the number of classes, as recommended by the ministry, specifying that face-to-face teaching in alternation has been adopted and all pupils will join their schools once every two days and will benefit from intensive courses in basic subjects (mathematics, Arabic and French).


The president of the association of parents and guardians of high school students `` Imam Malek '', Abdelaziz Taqui, noted the concern of all public and private schools in Dakhla to comply with the instructions social distancing and barrier gestures, with the obligation to use hydro-alcoholic gels, disinfection products, as well as hand washing.
The new school year is marked by alternation between face-to-face and distance education, an option used by the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research to ensure the smooth running of the new school year.
